Nomination

  • Actively and lawfully operating business
  • Genuine, full-time ongoing position
  • Salary at or above the market rate and threshold

For the applicant

Visa requirements

  • Under 45 at application, unless exempt
  • Competent English
  • Skills assessment and experience (Direct Entry)
  • Health and character requirements

Visa options

Direct Entry

For new or existing employees

Requires a positive skills assessment and at least three years of relevant work experience, unless exempt.

TRT

Temporary Residence Transition

For 482 visa holders who have worked in their nominated occupation on the 482 for the required period.

Labour Agreement

Under an approved agreement

For employers with a labour agreement, including DAMA agreements.
